Rising 1st Graders thru 6th Grade (No exceptions will be made.) Kids just getting out of 6th grade may still attend Summer Blast.

Yes! Please let us know any details in the designated spot on the registration form so that we can best prepare to give your child a great experience.

No. All kids within the age range are welcome to attend. 

Serve Team members will need to arrive at 5:00pm. (Some roles/positions may ask you to arrive earlier than 5pm).

YES! We understand that everyone has a busy schedule. Any time you are able to give is greatly appreciated.

All Serve Team members will receive all the training they need. It’s important that everyone is on the same page and that Summer Blast runs smoothly. There will be meetings/training prior to the event. Serve Team members only need to attend ONE of the meetings. 

We will provide multiple Summer Blast Training meetings. They are online.

Middle school aged kids through adults may serve (entering into 7th grade Fall 2025 and older). ALL volunteers must register PRIOR to the start of Summer Blast AND attend one of the training meetings. 

Yes. There will be childcare for kids younger than the Summer Blast age for Summer Blast Serve Team ONLY. Kids older than 3 will participate in sections of Summer Blast with the older kids and have their own Summer Blast experience. 

Yes. If you have not gone through a Love Church background screening within the past 2 years you will be required to have one completed. You will be emailed the digital link to complete it. A background screening will not be required if you only help with pre-event prep. Serve Team members under the age of 18 are not required to do a background screening. 

We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible so we may fill the positions needed. Our goal is to have all of our teams finalized 2 weeks before the first day of Summer Blast.
