Heart for the House is an annual faith offering where we give above what we normally give so we can go beyond where we normally go.

We Love You

Dear church,

All of us have experienced unique circumstances and unprecedented challenges in 2020, but God has been at work through it all. Brittney and I want to say thank you for your investment into this house and your consistency through trying times. Because of God’s goodness and your faithfulness, our church has actually seen an increase in giving in 2020 over 2019, even through one of the most trying economic years in recent history.

During the pandemic, our church invested over $100,000 in pandemic-related ministry, including a drastic increase in food pantry recipients, multiple “Back To School” outreaches for students and teachers, and case by case support for people in need. We were also able to honor all of our regular missions support and ministry partnerships throughout the uncertainty of the pandemic, for which the recipients were deeply appreciative.

As we approach Heart For The House on October 25th, we are incredibly expectant about what God is going to do. Heart for the House is an annual faith offering where we give above what we normally give so we can go beyond where we normally go. We believe that the supernatural favor of God that we have seen in 2020 will continue into this year’s annual faith offering. After all, it’s more than an offering; it’s a move of God.

We have ministry projects and opportunities right in front of us: Thanksgiving outreaches, Christmas outreaches, Love Week 2020, Operation Christmas Child, and more. Also, we have a chance to invest into our future by using part of this offering to secure the future permanent home of our Manassas and Warrenton Campuses, as well as continue to improve and upgrade our beautiful Winchester Campus and its property. The passionate participation of every family in our church is going to result in us reaching more people with the Gospel, both here within our communities and beyond.

I have asked each family in our church to do three things:

PRAY.
Pray about what God wants you to give. Don’t just casually give. Pray into it and ask God what would be an appropriate offering of faith and generosity for you.

PLAN.
I believe that faith is not living on a whim. Faith involves intentionality, strategy, and boldness. My prayer for this offering is that our church not only prays into it, but saves, plans, and prepares to give an offering that will honor God.

PARTICIPATE WITH PASSION.
It’s not about equal amounts of giving; it’s about equal passion and sacrifice. What if everyone in this house prayed, planned, and then passionately participated at whatever level they were able? I know what would happen. We would see a move of God!

I’m excited and full of faith. I am asking you to pray, plan, and participate with us on October 25th either in person or online. You can bring your offering to any of the in-person services or plan to give online on October 25. This offering will be open through the end of the calendar year, so if you are unable to give on October 25, you can give at any in-person service or online anytime until 11:59pm on December 31st, 2020.

The Bible says in Proverbs 11:24-25 (MSG) “The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller. The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.” We are praying God’s abundant blessings over you, your family, and our entire church family as we stretch our faith and bring God our best in Heart For The House 2020.

We love you!
